A passing interest in railways or an ardent enthusiast, there is something here for everybody.Like many valleys throughout this part of Yorkshire, the Worth Valley’s development is intrinsically linked to the woollen industry and throughout the 18th and 19th centuries mills developed at all points in the Valley to take advantage of the climate and abundance of sheep that grazed the surrounding moors.

The current St Michael and All Angels church in Haworth is the third building of religious significance to stand on this site, with the first Haworth Chapel dating back to the 14th and 15th Centuries.
